Very beginner question, but in the traffic section, I see a separate sub section for media buying.
But whether it be FB, PPC, native, mobile, etc, aren't we all buying media (as in traffic)?
Are there one or two main differences with media buying that distinguishes it from other forms of traffic?
Cheers

Hello gorzar,
the original meaning of media buying is buying the ad space from site/app/service owners directly. With the rise of traffic networks and the need of precise targeting, this category got way less popular than it was before. So instead of buying GLOBAL rotation with all devices and connection types in one mix, most of us work with traffic networks or brokers, to get just the traffic we need. It's still media buying, but not in it's purest form

Many thanks Matuloo.
Makes perfect sense now 😬
