Best blogs, forums, etc. for keeping up to date with new traffic companies?
One thing I keep hearing from AMs and on these tutorials is to try more unknown traffic sources since everyone and their uncle is on zeropark and propeller. With new ones popping up literally everyday how do you guys find them? How do you not get scammed etc? Are there places that review traffic sources?
Any help in this area would be awesome!

I'm not sure if you find tutorials on "unknown traffic sources", that's maybe the reason why they are unknown, but generally there is nothing unknown.
You can find some list of sources here and there, but not really tutorials I think.
All the big sources with decent traffic are well known around and you can find a lot of good information here on STM.
If you have budget I would suggest you to try sources one by one over time, ideally when you have a good campaign and need to scale (so you will know that if it not work the problem is more likely in the source rather then on your side)
A great way of discovering new traffic sources, is visiting some affiliate show from time to time - it's a perfect way of getting the word out for the new players, so they always attend these shows. Some conferences have an online list of attendees for their upcoming shows, so you can screen these lists and see if there are some new "traffic" related names.
In order to not lose too much on the lower quality sources, always start with the minimum deposits - in case it's higher than you are comfortable witch, try to google their name along with a "review" word, it usually brings up a few results... in case they are bad, someone usually already complained
