A Basic Scaling Question

When looking to scale a campaign, ive read that sometimes you can run an offer on multiple affiliate networks.

How does this achieve scale?

I can u der stand running an offer on multiple traffic sources but is the main benefit of additional affiliate networks being that they may have different EPCs?

Cheers

Hello Gorzar,

When scaling, I don't really advice that you split test other offers anymore. This should all be done before scaling phase. You should make sure you got a solid campaign first and got all the good stuff already (good offer, good placements, good landers, etc). You can achieve this by removing lousy pubs and testing more offers from different networks, different angles, banners/landers. Then you can say, you're ready to scale. And yes because different networks have different payouts, some have rebrokered the offer many times over, these factors can altogether affect one's offer EPCs.

Hope this helps!

Where specifically did you read that? Would be curious about the context in which it was written.

Like machix said (and as you were probably suspecting), testing of the same offer from different networks should be done before choosing the best one to scale.

And yes - the reason why you'd want to test the same offer from different networks is because they will have different CRs/EPCs.
