What is the best place to get traffic if you're in the real estate market? 
For real estate, you can pick 2 basic approaches :
1. target people who live in an area and show them what's on sale in their region ...
OR
2. target people who want to move to a certain region ...
For the 1st one, Facebook is your friend, since no other advertising platform knows so much about their users - including where they live/reside.
For the 2nd one, Adwords (or other search platforms like Bing) will do well, since these people are already actively looking (searching) for real estate in the region of their interest and that's the keywords you should be targeting.
It's obviously more complicated and you can focus on many more sources, but let's start with this and give it a proper thought.
Btw: I've been involved with the largest real estate portal in my country and we had the best results with the "local" approach.
I'm looking for investors that need a hard money loan who want to buy flip or buy occupy commercial buildings and sell or who need a 3-6 month bridge loan.
