Facebook states that you should get at least 15-25 conversions a week PER ADSET for it to optimize correctly.
My question is...
1. If I have a campaign with several adsets getting 15-25 conversions (in this case, lets consider a conversion a purchase) a week, and I want to create a brand new ad set, will the pixel use the conversion data it gathered from the other adsets? Or does it treat each adset as its own separate entity and I have to "start over" and gathering conversion data for this new adset?
The reason I ask is... when i duplicate a successful adset, I am not sure if I can set it to optimize for purchases right off the bat or if I need to get enough purchases from this new adset before I set it to optimize for purchases.
2. If I want to switch my conversion optimization from "view content" to "add to cart" and eventually to "purchase", is it ok to switch it within the same adset or should I duplicate the adset and set the new optimization conversion event?
