The Cockroach Story (15)

So I’d basically be homeless right now. If my friends would let me....

But they won’t. I’m staying at Somda, Rodrique, and Bonaventure’s house in Las Vegas while I get my sh*t back together.

One night I’m standing next to their kitchen counter. And there's a toilet paper roll just sitting there. And as I walk by, I notice a little cockroach sitting in the middle of the roll.

I slowly grab the toilet roll. and smack it against the counter trying to get the roach to fall out so I can crush it.

*WHAM*

Little bastard’s not letting go...

“Holding on for dear life huh?”. I’m thinking to myself. “HA Not for long though!”

I grab a few towels off the roll and I start shoving it down the center of the roll. Slowly pushing the roach to the bottom.

Then Somda notices me doing something weird... He comes over and says, “Pete, WTF are you doing?"

“There’s a cockroach inside the toilet roll." I murmured.

“Then why don’t you just kill it?” - said Somda.

“I AM killing it…” I said sharply.

I swiped the roll to the side sending the roach flying into the sink. Turned on the faucet, and washed it down the drain.

Bing Bang Pow! He’s a goner.

I sit back on the couch and I start thinking, How similar is this to earning more money?

For years I’ve been telling my self, I WANT to make more money. I NEED to be a millionaire. I NEED to experience what it’s like to be young & rich!

My results? Next to nothing...

But that last situation was different. I said, “I Am... killing” and I did the behavior that got me the result.

Not “I want to kill it. I need to kill it”. I AM killing it.


I said 'I Am' because I was already in the act. I already made my first move. I AM doing the behavior that is taking me to get that result.

So isn’t that exactly what we're all doing in business too? Most of us have already made the decision to become rich.

We're already doing the behavior that will lead us to riches (starting companies, reading books, networking on forums).

So in reality. You wanting to become rich is false.

You are becoming a rich. You are in the process of making more and more money. You are creating financial freedom, right now.

If you've already started to act, then becoming rich is not something that you want anymore. It is something that You Are Becoming.

For now on, stop saying, ‘I want/I need to be rich'. Replace it with ‘I AM becoming rich’.

Write this down on a piece of paper 20 times per day, everyday, and you will be amazing at the ideas your subconscious mind will begin to feed to you.

If you believe it to be true, you will experience it to be true.

Unfortunately the part you are describing is worth nothing if you don't have the neccessary things/tools to actually make money :-)
Like insight, persistance, budget, time, timing, knowledge, connections, patience etc etc

If becoming rich is your main goal, affiliate marketing isn't the best choice to start with.

I didn't have all those things you mentioned either. The mindset/subconscious is what leads you to accomplish those things.

Which in my case led me to get a job as a media buyer for XY7 Elite & Mentorship from the CEO (because I failed on my own for years before that). That gave me the tools and budget to practice everyday and go harder.

And dude, we're on a forum called 'Stack That Money'. This IS the place to build wealth, an invaluable skillset, and I signed up because I wanted to experience life rich as fuck (while being young****)

Im 26 now (2 years after I wrote that), my traffic brought in $2.7M in Rev last year. I'm living on the 'Rich White Guy' island in the Caribbean (St Barths). I see a billionaire once every other week.

Affiliate Marketing is the best place to start if rich is your goal.

See the bold parts above, you had most of them, besides being lucky too ofcourse. It's very easy talking if you are "there" already, by just saying "‘I AM becoming rich". That's shitty, empty and vague advice. But I get your point you want to motivate, and I hope some here get excited by your story, really!

Just saying becoming rich out of affiliate marketing isn't that easy...

There are a lot more millionaires from affiliate marketing, djeez ofcourse. There are people becoming millionaires by selling dogshit, doesn't mean it's that easy.

Don't just take my word for it, test out this theory yourself. Put this picture on your iPhone's background for 14 days.
Even if it 'feels weird, unnatural, and stupid' keep doing it and look at the phrase over and over again.

Let it sink deep into your subconscious mind through repetition and repetition because once you start to believe it to be even 10% true, you will start to feel like you just unlocked some hidden shit inside of you.

You're subconscious mind will kick into high gear and start solving your goals on autopilot . You'll start to get insights of inspiration/hunches for solutions that move you towards your goals. Any procrastination will immediately be gone. You'll be taking massive action without even feeling like it's work. It'll be natural.

This is straight up Psycho Cybernetics shit. Give it a shot and tell me if you honestly don't feel anything.

Note: If you come at it with a skeptic "this is bullshit" mentality, you'll get bullshit results. However if you bypass your skeptisim, you'll be amazed

Always had a wallpaper which referred to art or nature. Mindset isn't a wallpaper or some lame ass quote.

Can't agree with this more. This is the central idea in the law of attraction theory. It saved my sanity and life back then, and I've been grateful for that every day and will continue to be.
