fb ads, zqueeze, signups bot paying conversions

Hi,
I finally decided to learn AM.
I found a digital product on clickbank, targeting was provided, mailers as well.
The offer was "woodworking plans"
Bellow are steps i took:

1 - made a zueeze page to subscribe to get free 440 plans
2 - setup an autoresponder on getresponse
3 - setup fb campaign using suggested geo and interests
4 - made two adsets to test interests, one direct interest and the other one relevant but not direct
5 - gave it a run with 5$ limit per ad, each adset had 4 ads
6 - monitored signup ctr and adjusted accordingly
7 - after had 200 email, created new adset with same images as before but used lookalike audience.
8 - also did adset targeting same interests but locations that appeared in the 200 users
9 - all tests were at 5-10$ per ad, ran day or 2 and finally i left with only 2 ads that were giving me a signup at .80$

i spent around 500$ and got 420 emails on my list, i sent the 3 more free plans over a week and after that i they were getting the selling emails (3 total, 1 every 2 days) of 16000 woodworking plans.

Not a single purchase

After the last woodworking email i added another email to be sent 2 days after the last one. it was offer about how to make a cnc woodworking machine.
had 26$ sell and refund.

took a cool screwdriver from amazon, sent it to the list.... no buyers.

can anyone tell me what went wrong?

Thanks

First of all 0.80 dollar per sign up is quite expensive imho. What CTR/relevancy did your best ads had?
Second, I think you need to provide more details of your flow, from ad to signup + some email templates + sales page.

It's pretty unclear what you promise potential customers and how you approach them to generate sales.
In general your setup looks pretty good for a starter!

Hi and thanks for king words )
The ad was offering free woodworking plans and was going to squeeze page and after email submit the visitor would get an email with dl link where a conversion pixel fires - avg conversion 0.80$
toward the and i had some ads converting at 0.57$ but avg of the campaing is 0.80$

first week subscribers were send 3 emails giving 3 more plans for free.
after that 3 sales email were sent pitching the product - 16k woodworking plans.
text was provided by the aff owner.

Generally it had some product benefits listes, price and limited time offer.

links in the emails lead to long video sales page with examples of plans the will get, testimonials and all the usual with by now button at the bottom.

here it is, hope its not against the rules here.
