How to keep profitable after banner blindness? (3)

Say you've worked on your funnel and now have found the best banner/lander/offer combo and are now profitable.

However after a week or so, banner blindness kicks in and now it's time to create some new banners.

Now theoretically won't your funnel only work with that set of banners? So at this point am I just trying to make new variations of these working banners?

Or theoretically the LP/Offer combo is pretty strong if you got it profitable, so it should work with a variety of different banners?

I guess my question is how do you keep the party going?

But yes - having to keep coming up with more banners has got to be one of the most troublesome tasks when running adult banner traffic. Landers will stay effective for a long time (the most popular ones have been pretty much the same over the past year or two), but banners will burn out constantly. If you're running high volume you'll need to develop a new batch every few days.

Here are some tips - from my old adult days:

-Keep testing new angles. Assign a portion of your budget for this ongoing task. Don't wait until all previous banners are burnt out before doing this.

-Keep creating variations on angles that are working - new images and/or new headlines and/or new look-and-feel (layout/font/color/etc.).

-Rotate banners in batches, e.g. have 2 batches and alternate every day / every couple days. This will delay burn-out.

That's all I can remember for now.

Both can be true, I always start with the 1st one, so quickly firing up variations of the working banners... if that doesn't help it, I move on to testing different banners ... if that fails too, I need to mess around with the LPs as well.
