Hi everyone,
I'm just dipping my toes into AM and I thought I'd get some advice from people who have been there and got the tshirt. I'm wondering what problems you experienced when you were in my position and first starting out and what, if anything, stood in your way to becoming profitable and then scaling? I don't want to be going into this blindly!
Thanks guys
For me personally, it was the budget. I dove headfirst into this hoping i would start making money with too low of a budget.
As i work tho, i work on the "trial and error" kind of basis, so maybe i spend more budget than the analyst type :P
But keep your budget, be prepared to spend more money than you earn back at the start.

Alex, thank you for that reply! Thats really helpful
Also, if you have alot of budget to work with, i HIGHLY suggest the "newbies first steps" guide from vortex, it really gets you into it very fast. But the best way to learn is figure out what you did wrong! So follow the steps to the percentage you want to then try and figure something out, if ur stuck go back, read more on the guide and try and figure out why it went wrong

A big problem to overcome for me, was to keep on going when I was still loosing money, no matter what I tried. I summed up the phases I went through in this article, check it out if you want to hear my take : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ally-master-it
Matuloo, thank you so much for that insight. Really helpful!!
