Optimising Facebook Placements (1)
Hi everyone,
I’m Vin (working for Suneel) am new to facebook affiliate marketing and would really appreciate your advice on how to go about making profitable campaigns on facebook. My first question is on placements on facebook. I'm running a campaign which is a straight redirect to the affiliate partners site (no landing pages). Which placements generally work better? Automatic placements? Mobile vs Desktop? On Facebook are there any specific ones that do better? Ie ( newsfeeds, right column, instant articles ) ?.
Is there a general guide to this or does the answer vary depending on my specific campaign? If so what is the best method to split test these variables. Is a granular approach required with individual ads and the results measured for each ad? Is there a dashboard where it gives me the breakdown on CTRS from specific placements? Whats the best way to optimize and ‘crack’ the split testing of placements on FB.
