What is a good daily spending budget for a newbie running traffic for adult???.....also I'm considering buying traffic from Traffic junky
i have no experience in adult, but i am sure that this has to do with the offer payout and the GEO as well .
at least you have to spend between(5 x offer payout) and (10 x offer payout)
$25 would be minimum, anything lower than that and you will be dealing with unreliable data, because the sample will be too small. Even 25 is too low for tier1 GEOs, but it could be enough in tier2 and below.
Obviously it also depends on the current bids (competition) and what site you target. $25 on their pornhub is nothing, on tube8 it will give you way better idea about the traffic.
The bigger the budget, the more representative sample of data you will get.
In a nutshell : What you want to achieve is running a full day with your settings, without spending your budget in full. For example, if I have $50 budget per day, I need to find a bid level (cap + other targeting) that will give me $49 worth of traffic throughout the day, with "accelerated" spending setting ... let me know if I didn't express myself clear enough.
Thanks you guys....another question I had is where to find some sort of list that shows a lot of adult sites ... not only show the most popular sites such as PH, Tube8, etc but also the not so popular sites that still gets a good amount of traffic

Check out the premium inventory at exoclick, those are larger sites too. Email/skype your traffic sources and ask for recommendations on high trafficked sites. Some sources show lists with some numbers - juicyads for example, take a look at that too.
You can also run RON campaigns and look for sites that send you larger chunks of traffic - an initial bot detection test is mandatory here.
