Hey guys,
I'm Giuseppe (from Italy) and I'm new here.
First of all I want to say thanks for the awesome informations that you provide, I've subscribed 3 days ago and already found so many valuable tutorials and resources.
Now, for what concern my topic I would like to ask some tips from you facebook experts.
What do you think about using FB ads for selling ecommerce products? (manicure sets for women)
About targeting:
I created an audience using as interests a lot of related pages and websites -> make up and similar websites (also competiors' stores)
I have a huge list of customers emails that I can plug into Facebook to create a lookalike audience
Now I have a few questions:
Is it possible (based on your experience) to create a Facebook AD that brings the visitor directly to a purchase offer?
I'm asking because on the web I've seen a new strategy called Free+Shipping that consist in offering a free products (charging for the shipping) and then try to upsell something.
I was thinking that if people are doing this is because trying to sell immediatly doesn't work in terms of ROI.
What are your thoughts?
Last thing
The store is built with Magento but I was thinking to create a sort of funnel (maybe trying to insert a one time offer and something similar once the user has purchased) with Clickfunnels or some other Landing Page Services.
Why? Because the product page is the classic e-commerce page (really basic and far away from an effective sales page)
Can I have your opinions?
Thanks a lot! Good luck to all of you with your marketing efforts
Without actually seeing the purchase offer page, I wouldnt recommend to do it. People buy a story in general, so you need to warm them up somehow. Ofcourse you can do it in your ad already (for example a video is a good method)!
E-commerce + women is very suitable for FB advertising, especially with your LLA audience!
Hey stickupkid,
Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer me.
I'm sorry but I didn't understand your first point.
You're saying that the path: FB AD -> SALES PAGE is not reccomended?
I do not have any video that I can use to warm up the prospects..
What would you reccomend in order to warm up the girls that will se the ad?
good copy in the ad? long sales page? free something + upsell?
Thanks a lot
Thanks again! One more thing before I dive in ads and landing creation
How about something like this:
1. facebook ad
2. lead capture page (example: free report on how to do a perfect manicure)
3. product sales page
4. upsell
5. email sequence for those who just downloaded the lead magnet without buying
Would it be easier to achieve a positive ROI with something like this?
What do you think?
Thanks
Hey,
thanks for all the help you're giving!
Since the campaign is for a real brand with a huge e-commerce and that is 1° with SEO for most keywords I will try freebie or video before farticles.
