How to cut the wifi traffic from Exoclick?

I just launched a campaign in exoclick yesterday.
I selected the Mobile Carriers to my target in exoclick control panel.
But exoclick delivery 90% wifi traffic to my campaign.
I can not find the connection type settings in exoclick control panel.
I want cellular traffic only. Is this possible?

Anyone can help me? Thanks!

Yes it's possible and you shouldn't receive Wifi traffic if you only selected carriers.

The best is to target by IP ranges if you want to avoid unwanted traffic.

You should also contact Exoclick because if you didn't select Wifi traffic and you receive 90% of it, there is a problem.

There are some publicly available lists of IPs, but none of them is 100% reliable. Google is your friend

You could also buy ranges from services like maxmind, which is not accurate again.

There are companies with pretty accurate DBs too, like digital element, but they don't sell the ranges - they work on a request model - you send an IP and they return the corresponding carrier.

Last option is to buy traffic, watch what IPs give you conversions and try to compile ranges based on this data.

As for exoclick, are you sure you have configured the campaign properly? Because, they are usually quite accurate with carrier targeting. There is a "include selected OR exclude selected" check box next to the carrier targeting settings, make sure it's set to INCLUDE. If all fails, try to contact their support, they are usually responding pretty quickly.

It's simple enough. Fire up the campaign and go into your campaign in Voluum. Go to the IP tab. Change the settings to list mobile carrier. Then look at the IPs. Typically you'll want to block the entire range. What I do is, say I see an IP 1.2.3.4 and Voluum says it is not the carrier I want. Then I will copy that IP into notepad and change it to 1.2.0.0/16. Then in Exo in IP targeting, put that in with a minus sign like -1.2.0.0/16 to stop receiving traffic from that range. Most geos only have 10-20 ranges max you'll need to block, although some have a LOT more. Italy for instance has a TON of wifi ranges that need to be blocked.

You can also whitelist IP ranges like this the same way. For instance DTAC in TH is only 1.46.0.0/16 and 1.47.0.0/16. Make sure to save your ranges somewhere for future use as well.

I can not find the mobile carrier settings in Campaign->IP tab? Is there something wrong from me?
I googled this but I still can not get it to show IPs for only mobile carrier.

If you run with us, you can request in certain cases the best IP ranges from us to use. Drop me a PM if you are interested....

Avazu DSP recently picked up exo pop inventory (and some other interesting pop sources as well). Haven't tested yet but you might try using their 3g filtering options. Avazu was pretty good at filtering only 3g traffic when targeting by specific isp//3g from past campaigns I've run there. Worth a test...
