Why the CTR > 100% ? Voluum bugs?

I am testing some landers.

Why the CTR>1? Is this possible?
Anyone can explain this if its right?

Thanks!

Hi alinwo,

CTR over 100% is usually a result of either bots/crawlers or some kind of a misconfiguration.
If it's a result of bots crawling your campaign, and then "clicking" multiple times so see the Offer URL, you'd most likely see in IP report that most of those clicks come from a limited number of IP addresses. It's also worth checking zone_id / site_id / placement, if your traffic source passes it - it might be possible that all clicks come from one single site_id.

When it comes to misconfiguration - the usual suspect would be a backbutton script that creates a "loop", or if clicking 'back' in the browser invokes ClickURL - some people can then quickly click back multiple times - generating multiple clicks this way.

Kind regards,
Pawel

Most likely this if you are testing some landers you ripped from AdPlexity or another spy tool

Thank you! I use the backbutton script in my LP. It cause this issue.
