Prosper 202 on Amazon S3

Has anyone tried setting up Prosper on Amazon's cloudfront?

I just did some quick research...looks aquite technical

Seems like you have to install PHP and MySQL yourself??

The capacity looks quite impressive though

i dont think you can set it up on cloudfront as that is the AWS CDN and therefore would not support serverside scripting.

what you can do is setup an EC2 server for p202 tracking, and then host the landers on cloudfront.

ive not tried this myself with 202, but have hosted a bunch of other stuff off EC2 servers.

its ok, but you need to know what your doing as there isnt really a plug and play "webserver" solution in EC2 that takes care of everything.

EC2 sucks at database performance, they have some serious io contention uses when you use any thing innodb or large selects from big tables.

Has anyone actually found cloudfront to offer *GOOD* performance vs an origin based CDN??
