This is how you track sources/zones/categories/keywords in TS Vertical !!
Hey everyone,
Imagine CPA without a proper tracking where you cant track sources , keywords , zones , browsers and so on. Does not make any sense , does it ?
However that is what most TS pay per call pubs do. Even though you can still find profitable spots without tracking, its getting harder and harder.
More and more popunder and ppv networks are sending us bot/fraud traffic and its impossible to blacklist those bad sources without tracking.
Tracking in Pay per call works much the same way as in CPA there is just different technology beneath. In stead of every click being tracked with unique click/sub ID , we are tracking sources, keywords , zones and so on by passing unique IDs. Basically you pass the tokens that you v been given by traffic network to call tracker. And then analyze the conversions there.
My point of this post was to share the technique that can give you spectacular advantage over other TS pubs , cos most of them are not doing this!

Yeah, you didn't really tell us anything, would love to know how to better track where the calls are coming from.
Basically for this task you need call tracking/routing solution + some programming to be done in order to implement the scripts in to your landers. We use our own solution so all i can do is refer you to us for this task or you can find your own tracker and set it up. The way it works is you place script in your lander which is then pulling numbers from you tracker according to the tokens assigned. You dont track each clicks with unique ID , but rather track source IDs , if you have traffic coming from 100s of sources tracker will be assigning each unique source ID to a different number dynamically. Really guys , its no point for me to explain technical details , cos you wont be developing your own tracker anyways. You must find some online , and learn their technology. I am just letting you know that this is what we do on our networks and inviting you to try it out 
The alternative is to set it up yourself , but that can be quite complicated and pricy as well. Cos you will need to rent 100's or even 1000's TFNs

Cant remember mentioning anything about secrets. Just saying there is such an option and we have it set up. I told there are options you can find online , but i have 1 ready. Tracking keywords & zones is done via Track Drive. Basically there is a script that is inserted on your landing page which examines the variables on your URL string and issues a unique phone # for each variable. When someone places a call, TrackDrive knows which variable was on your lander for that phone # and can attribute that to a conversion. You can then see revenue per keyword/zone and optimize your placements on the ad network. You can even setup a post back to

Thanks for explaining in more detail However this can be quite complicated to set up and many people just dont leverage it , cos it requires some set up and programming. So this was the tip for those who either didnt know know about the feature or does not have the desire to set this up on their own. We are a network who has been around for a while and never missed a payment. I think there is nothing wrong to call this a TIP and invite people to try this with us!
