Which is best for a newbie to start out with, Native ads or Adult? They both have been recommended to me by different people I just wanted to know which one was more newbie friendly
Adult = a vertical
Native = traffic type/source/method
That being said, I think it's good to read some basic affiliate marketing guides first so you know what verticals are and what different traffic types you can choose from.
Adult contains many verticals, it also contains many traffic types ... but yes, the term is usually used to describe the part of the internet that has to do with some bare skin
If I had to compare native and adult, there is one major difference - native generally requires larger budget in order to detect the bad placements and block them. While in adult, there are some large sites that you know are legit, so you can target them directly, without worrying about bots. So based on this, adult is more newbie friendly.
On the other hand, native probably opens more options : the total volume is bigger than what you can get in adult so you can spend more there and scale faster, native is compatible with more verticals too (not everyone wants adult traffic, but I'd say anyone will take native)... On top of that, not every affiliate is ok with adult in the first place, so that's another factor to keep in mind.
There are pros and cons to both... as always
Which is better to start off as a newbie adult or native ads I've recommended both
I could be wrong but I think both are pretty difficult?
I've heard for newbs pops/app installs are the way to go.
If I had to do it all over again that's what I'd do, but I'm already balls deep in adult so Im workin my way through it rather than just jump around.
Merged the two threads, so we keep the discussion in one
Thanks and as far as budget goes is 2500-3000 a good enough amount to begin with in adult?
