How bad for lead quality are chat banners?

When I fire up all these spy tools, the majority of banners that I see that seem to be working are "chat style" banners.

My question is how bad is it for lead quality for Adult SOI offers?

Assuming you are using say older women on your banners/landing pages and sticking to a good quality traffic sources (ie pornhub, redtube etc), shouldn't lead quality be at least ok?

I am assuming of course that you can "make the numbers work" as I know chat banners usually lead to lower LP CTR etc.

I'm more concerned about the overall lead quality issue when you can get profitable.

Chat banners are generally believed to deliver lower quality leads, but I'm not sure it's really the truth in 100% of cases. It's true that they usually send traffic that has lower CTR on the LPs, because of the misleading feel to it, but if you stick to proven sources and follow the other advice about lead quality, you should be fine. I still think that the source plays the biggest part in the final lead quality.

In the end, it's about cooking the right mix : not too misleading banners and LPs, solid quality traffic, proper targeting ... if you "cheat" with one element (chat banners for example), but keep the others in tact ... it should still fly.

Definitely do not leave out chat banners just because the general consensus is that they produce bad lead quality. I guess you already know that it's very hard to make any general statement when it comes to AM
