3G or 4G targeting

Hi,

I'm relatively new to AM and I've selected a bunch load of campaigns to test and it's all set up, but the offers require that I only target 3G (in ID).

The traffic source I'm using (WWWpromoter) isn't offering a targeting option like this.

Are there traffic source that support this? Or should I just run the campaigns and assume most networks are 3G in Indonesia?

Thanks in advance,
Bram

Did you try contacting WWWpromoter support about this?

Some sources have some backend targeting they can activate for you on demand.

Yes, I've contacted them earlier today, but wrote this reply while waiting.

I wasn't sure whether 3G/4G targeting was an actually option. I'll post their reply here.

Is this a mobile subscription offer?

If I'm not horribly mistaken, I think 3G usually is used interchangeably with "Carrier Only Traffic". Does WWWPromoter have IP range targeting perhaps? Could be a workaround there.

I've just heard back from WWWpromoter support and they can't do 3G/4G targeting nor IP range targeting . I can choose carrier traffic though.

I've launched the offers on their respected carrier and it already seems to convert.

Just ask for carrier targeting, 3G or 4G is just another word to describe the same thing - what you are looking for is users connected through their mobile operator instead of WIFI.

I can do carrier targeting, but how would that distinguish 3G from 4G?

I've launched the campaign just targeted on the required carrier and it's already profitable

3G/4G is just another way of saying carrier traffic, that's what I thought and what Matuloo confirmed in the post above
