Ok so I've been told when starting out a newbie should start off with SOI offers because they are the easiet to test to get our feet wet. Even though they are easier to test and convert than other offers they have low quality problems. So because of the low quality problems this has left me confused because I've read some tips from Charles Ngo and he stated that an affiliate can get kicked off an offer for sending to many low quality leads. So now I'm in a dilemma because I don't know weather to go for SOI offers or not. Can someone please explain how this works or am I missing something here thanks
Any time you promote an SOI or even a DOI offer you risk getting kicked off if your traffic/funnel is trash.
Your lead quality is going to be based on how you promote the offer as well as what traffic source you use.
As long as you aren't misleading in your creatives and stick to decent quality traffic sources, usually you'll be ok.
Thanks jabong82...you really been coming through for me on my questions....appreciate it
A huge quality problem nowadays are Proxy users from TIER 3 markets. So you buy traffic from the US and you get guys from Pakistan. They use Proxys to reach pornsites. And they sign up for every bullshit you can imagine. So you buy the right traffic, you have a legit funnel and you still deliver a bad quality. Also legit users that are only curious about what is behind the offer and take the username ljadskljfasdfj and the password lkjkljl will give you a bad leadquality. Best is to talk to the advertiser or network right from the start about the quality, ban spots that have a low quality (the network can advice you by subaffiliate ID) and try to elimitate the proxy traffic, there are technices and tools for that, somebody else can explain better then me
SOI leads are actually more sensitive than DOI leads, when it comes to quality problems. But SOI is easier to convert, so a better choice for newbies - you will need lower budget for testing.
I wrote a guide on improving lead quality not so long ago, have seen it yet?
