I am an SEO guy and I love free traffic. Have run native traffic before, lost about $500 every time and went back to SEO. This time the story is different. Lot of people will quit like I did before and I think this post might motivate/help you in running paid traffic.
1. Stole few adult LPs & ads by visiting various porn sites. Used VPN to check various Geos.
2. Found a nice one for a specific GEO and replaced it with my offer/images.
3. (Mistake) Started using
4. (Mistake) Ran traffic for all devices and all placements on Exoclick.
5. Got few conversions but was all confused with stats as I was new to
6. Went back to Prosper (been using it since ages now & this does not mean voluum or thrive are bad. Its just that I am more comfortable with prosper).
7. Made obvious changes to the LP. (ahref all images, usage of CDN, use of GTMetrix etc.).
8. Started filtering bad zones, targeted devices & time slots. (VERY IMPORTANT)
9. Paused low CTR ads.
9. Started making profits.
10. Applied to 3 other networks. One of them has the offer I am running and the offer is converting far better.
Action Plan - Repeat on other traffic sources (adult). Inputs appreciated.
