Do you need landing pages for adult on mobile pops (5)
I am trying to test more verticals on the mobile pop traffic sources I have access to. For most of the verticals it is easy to find landing pages on Adplexity, but not for adult offers. Is there a reason for this? Are most of the adult offers cloacked or there is no need for a lander for adult?

In 99% adult offers works better with LPs. Many offers don't allows to use the offer lander for pop or ppv traffic, so for those you have to use LPs.
Cloaking in adult isn't common, sometimes is usefull but mostly, it's not needed.
You could find LP's through manual spying or you could use a tool. Adplexity has an adult spytool: adplexityadult.com. There you will find a lot LPs and Ads.
One of the reasons is that most of the adult LPs are on a separate version of Adplexity: Adplexity Adult.
They got covered all of the adult sources, Adplexity mobile, is more mainstream.
Regarding LPs what seems to work / I keep seeing a lot / are small thumbnails/preview galleries of videos which are pointing to the offer after click.
However it's true that some adult offers (mostly 1clicks) works direct linked as well (some even have pre landers)

LPs almost always help, whatever vertical you are running ... it's pretty easy to spy in adult, unless you are after 3G traffic, that's when you should definitely check out adplexity adult
