Unable to charge my card

Just a quick one to see if anyone has seen this before, I've been using one of my facebook accounts for about a month or 2 and out of the blue they won't charge the card I've been using (got enough funds etc) and never had any type of warning on the account.

Have they blacklisted the card or just maybe an error on their end (it's been about a week of trying to pay it off)?

I know I can just get the bank to send out a new one and move forward making a new account and accepting the free monies but I would be nice to actually know what happened for the future.

Did you try to a add it again to your account?

I had payment errors too in the past. Mostly for amex cards because they have a "fraud detection" system. In that case FB used one of my back up visa cards. I had to call Amex to give FB "authorization" to charge the card, after i called i added the card again to my account. Not blacklisted.

I have been using it for about a month with no issues, I guess I could ring up the bank and double check it's not a fault on their end before requesting a new card to get sent out.

what gets flagged is the reoccurring charge....when you have alot of reoccurring charges from 1 company alot of banks now flag this as possible "fraud" and they put a hold on the card....I have had this happen to me a few times.....

Yes, i called Amex about it and they told me they can't do anything. I just have to call them everytime the payment fails. I only have this with my Amex card, not with the Visa cards. So i stick with Visa for the moment.

Yes, polar is right. I once had my card blocked for being used on POF and I had to contact the bank to sort this out.
