The Ultimate Guide to AWE 2017 - Berlin
Hi everyone,
We just released our guide to Berlin and AWE 2017:

Huge thanks to Lorenzo Green, Matuloo, Charles Ngo and Drew Eric Whitman for their input. Their contributions have made this our most complete guide yet, and we hope it helps you all have an exciting value-packed experience at the conference.
It's exactly two months away... we'll see you there!!

Thanks for the guide.
I haven't discovered a schedule yet. Will there be parties on both evenings? What do you recommed regarding flight arrival / departure? I'm not yet sure of how many nights to spend in Berlin (1, 2 or 3).

I would recommend 3 nights, arrival on 13th, departure on the 16th in the evening ... that's what I'm gonna do too. This way you are in one day before the conference, so you can have a look around and recover from the flight, in case it's a long one. And the evening departure 1 day after the conference gives you enough time to recover from a party and/or go for lunch with your new friends/biz-partners ... or just explore the city and do some shopping.
There will be several parties and private events held on both days, some organized by AWE directly, some by others and you might need an invitation. The closer the event will be, the more announcements there will be here on STM, just keep an eye on those

This is a great guide, in depth and easy to read.
A note regarding the sim cards: If you need a temporary sim card, you can grab a free LycaMobile sim at pretty much any convenience store. You can set it up online and pay for your data or whatever bundle online with credit card or Paypal.
It looks a little bit weird because they are literally just sitting there inside a blue and white brochure stand in most cases. The sim packet is free. You might have to call to activate in which case just get your hotel concierge to do it because the call centre employees don't usually speak english. 3GB of data is something like 12 euro. You'll also then be able to receive texts, which you're likely to need for wifi verification.

Hey guys,
Is there any Skype chat group to sync with other AWE attendees? That would be awesome to have a few chats before meeting in person
