Hi All,
I keep hearing that Facebook video view ads are super cheap and well worth a try.
So have setup a campaign for video views and let it run.
I decided that being charged for 10 second video views would be a good option
as at least 10 seconds should show some interest from the user.
So my adset settings look like this:

But when I look in the results at the Ad Manager level, Facebook is charging
me per 3 second view?
I thought my settings were pretty clear, but have I done something wrong?
Mark
Hey Flash,
Not sure if I'm going to be super helpful here. But I believe facebook just calculates the cost of those 3 sec views from what it charges you for the 10 sec. I always go with automatic bids. Have you seen greater success with manual bids on FB? Or are you just trying to keep to a budget?
I know that for other campaigns types, like conversions, it will show you cost per click, but it's just a calculation based on what your cost per 1k impressions and clicks. I'm betting it's the same type of calculation. But I've been wrong before.
Thanks dude, yeah in the end it was charging me for the 10 second views. Im going with manual bids because I'm trying
to stick to a budget. Will try auto bidding at some point though.
flashpacker,
have you looked into any services like viboom? curious if these services work and/or facebook can detect them.
