Is there cash on AdCash?

Continuing our series of brief ad networks' reviews, this time we'll be looking into AdCash.

[Disclaimer: This post was originally published on mobidea Academy. All the missing information can be found in the full version.]

Adcash is an ad network focused on mainstream traffic. At the beginning, it was a manage-only platform. This basically means every user had a personal account manager who helped in pretty much everything regarding campaign set up, segments, optimizations, etc.

However, that’s changed. Now, Adcash has got a self-managed platform. In fact, users set everything by themselves, just like you’d usually do on other networks.

Its managed platform is still very interesting, though. For high spenders, it offers features like performance models, such as CPA, and even allows you to create landing pages and banners for free.

The platform has three main types of traffic:

A web (desktop), a mobile web, and an in-app campaign are the most basic for each of the respective types of traffic.

This is the part where I’d like to refer to theuser interest type of campaign, which can be quite interesting.

First of all: what’s that all about? Simple: user interest targeting will display your ads and offers for users that have shown interest exactly in what your offer has to… well, offer.

For example, if you’re promoting a game offer, whenever the users visit a site, regardless of the site’s theme being gaming or not, your ads will be showed to them. This is different from contextual targeting, which targets the site’s category, in which case your ads would be displayed on gaming-related websites only.

Adcash’s engine tracks the user’s preferences while they browse the web, mostly through cookies. When the data is stored, and after a certain threshold, the user will be labelled as having interest in a specific topic.

This tool can help you create campaigns that are super detailed, mega concrete and highly targeted! This is gonna lead to higher margins, as they decrease the spending in unnecessary and uninterested users.

In-stream video campaigns are the ones where your ads will be displayed along with the main video the user will be watching. They can be displayed before, during, or after the actual video.

This campaign type is for advertisers who wanna promote video content.

Adcash is a pretty good and trustworthy ad network! It’s also got one of the best interfaces out there.

There are some low points worth mentioning, though:

Adcash is a bit picky with landing pages. It can easily reject campaigns due to some minor issue. You can also contact the support. If necessary, send a screenshot of the landing page.

The very good points?

The support! Even though it’s a self-managed platform, the support at Adcash rocks. Every email we sent was answered in a reasonable amount of time and the problem was always quickly solved.

I've had mixed quality support. The account managers were always great for me but the standard support email exchanges were much less pleasant.

Might be! This is the experience we've got making tests, in a longer term could be different
