Success Challenge: do_what_matters

Hi everyone. brand new to this part of AM.

So I tried to start this update earlier but I ended up not realizing that I can't have my traffic going through cloudflare which I accidentally had it funneled through.

All my traffic which I had going to afflow went through their "cloaker" and hardly anything converted so that left me very frustrated.

My strategy btw was to just test all geos, carriers except india and pakistan because I heard there was a lot of traffic there to cut out and I wanted to reduce that portion of it a little to make things easier.

My first campaign was $5 and it went all to waste. Not knowing about the cloudflare issue yet I kept adding increments of $5 until I was about $25 in with a single $.10 conversion.

I thought for sure I was doing something wrong so I spent a couple of hours trying to figure it out in google and watching some of the other videos posted here and the setup process and I couldn't figure it out.

Finally after 2 more campaigns setup broken by adult/nonadult I finally figured out today about the cloudflare issue.

So now I reran 2 of my campaigns and I have some conversions coming in so i will look to see what's working not working and try to optimize a little more.

Right now I only have an offer rotator for the traffic. Once I get a good carrier/geo combo I'll try to get some good offers into the mix directly and see if I can get something to work like that.

Update #2

I got some data back from my first campaign which I activated and I decided to cut some traffic based on very limited data. I spent $15.13 and got 4 conversions equaling $.62. Kinda sucky but I guess that's to be expected from a RON on all GEOS.

So the formula I saw being used was that I should cut anything that is over 3 times the payout if it doesn't have any conversions.

So I saw that the average conversion was .16 so I cut all countries with over .48 cost out.

My avg bid was .0003 so they had a thousand+ clicks each, which I hope is enough to make these cuts without it being too early.

I'm going to check the second campaign I have running which is only targeting 2 GEOS once it runs through the budget of $5.

Will update again probably tomorrow with more info.
