Good stuff - nice start.

On your ads: I'd suggest writing some more enticing copy to draw users in. Remember AIDA: Attention, Interest, Desire, Action.

You're currently doing something to capture Attention and Interest (you can do more, but that's later), but very little to convert Interest into Desire.

Why are these guitar picks good? What's special about the Tea Infuser? Couldn't I just buy teabags? Etc.

You can get some ideas for benefits to layer on by looking through reviews for similar products - here's one I found for guitar picks, for example: https://www.amazon.co.uk/20pcs-Smoot.../dp/B00CKJWHCI

Additional question, btw - why not target Italy? You know the market far better than outsiders, I assume you can probably speak the language - it's worth a test at least on a few products.

Good luck, and looking forward to your next results.

First of all, thank you for replying me, I'll take in mind the acronym AIDA.

Okay, today I'll edit the posts' copy and the product description on the shop.

I assumed that their clicks wouldn't convert in sales.
And okay, this is my biggest fault: NEVER TAKE SOMETHING FOR GRANTED, BEN, FUCKIN' TEST.
I'll write this on every wall of my house.

I'll create a specific adset to test performance in Italy.

Oh gosh, sorry, I thought it was yours ahahah
Sorry again, I read "STM" as ref and I thought it was related to STM.

By the way, I didn't even read the benefits from sponsoring Shopify.

Thank you and sorry again!

Actually its smart not to target your own country - in order to avoid any potential customer lawsuits. Way harder for them to sue you when they are in another geo.

If you just type the word Shopify - stm automatically puts its own affiliate link in there apparantly (end on =stm). Click on post quick reply and you'll see it only after posting show up - S.M.A.R.T.

Something about an old dog and new tricks comes to mind!

Ok nice. You make dropshipping with aliexpress? You know the time of shipping for you customer because you can have protest if the shipping time is too long. But in any case it's a good job

You need to keep an eye out in regards to shipping times. A lot of Aliexpress vendors only use Epacket when delivering to the US and their estimated shipping times to Europe can be a lot longer than 20 days - it seems to vary greatly depending on the country you are shipping to.

Yes, I know that for EU countries it takes longer, in fact I wrote on the products' page "Due to high demand of our promotion please allow up to 45 business days for delivery.".
I'm going to write it even in the mail I send when I confirm the shipping.
Thanks by the way!

Yes, this is one of the main reason I that lead me avoid the italian market, at least at the beginning.

Ok it's a good thing if the customer know that the shipping can be longer. Do you have automatised the order or you make it manually?

Update 08/04/2017 00:54 AM

So in these days I had another sale: another tea infuser has gone to a lady in UK, so I decided to create an adset to target only the UK.
Costs for guitar picks' sponsoring where too high and I really don't know how to optimize the adset.

Following @cbrughmans advices, I created an adset to target specific countries where I never sponsored anything, so for me it's the first test in those geos (i.e. UAE, SA, CZR).

Always following Christoph advices, I'm starting to sponsor a video where potential costumers can see how the tea infuser works.

New updates soon! I'm always waiting for your suggestions!

Hi guys!
Sorry to update the post so late, but I'm away from home, without the laptop.
I'm managing my ads and the store on the tablet!

So, I had only two more orders, the start was awesome, but then, without changing anything on the adset, I didn't sell anymore.
So I tried other products:
Antigravity Cover: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?sto...79058075639021
Traveller Watch: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?sto...79058075639021

I run ads for some days on the cover''s video, without any results, and stopped them about two days ago.
And now, suddenly, I sold one, without any ads on on it.
I started sponsoring the watch about two days ago, without any sale.

I've a big problem: I have many abandoned checkouts. Not carts, but checkout. Even for free shipping products. Can some of you try to buy something on my site and tell me what's wrong with the checkout page? Maybe something isn't so intuitive? Let me know what you think.

Happy easter to all of you!

P.S.
Tomorrow and on Monday I'll be in London, do someone wants to meet up for a drink?

OK it's good, I think that the problem it's that the customer can only checkout with paypal. When the customer see only paypal method for the checkout he abandoned.

Happy to drop a few tips.

FB Improvements:
1.) you need to insert the following list of filtered keywords into your page settings > page moderation. It will auto-hide anyone who uses any of these words which can be huge conversion killers on your ads (I already see a few comments like "I bought this on aliexpress for $1" that will instantly turn people away). Simply copy and paste the list below and you'll be good.

wish,wish.com,www.wish.com,shipping,shipped,ship,9.95,rip off,ripoff,fraud,scam,scammers,china,aliexpress,ww w.aliexpress.com,ebay,ebay.com,www.ebay.com,4.95,6 .95,$,7.95,$,20,sucks,fuck,thieves,thief,expensive ,high,price,http,https,://,www,shipping,ship,ships,shipped,shipping fees,how much to ship,9.95,$9.95,$50,50 bucks,no way,rippoff,ripoff,fraud,scam,scammers,beware,make these,make this,ebay,aliexpress,china,s & handling,s&handling,s& handling,9.95,995,16,37,47,received it,gotten it,received theirs,received theres,gotten theres,recieved one,received one,10,$10,10.00,$10!,$10.00!,not free,where is it,where is my order,when will it come,how long will it take,how long,shipping,deliver,delivered,amazon,amazon.com, 19.90,$19.90,50,$50,$20,20,$30,30,$40,40,$29.85,29 .85,$39.80,39.80,$49.75,49.75,two weeks,2 weeks,3 weeks,three weeks,4 weeks,four weeks,month,waiting,month ago,forever ago,still haven't gotten,still not here,still have not received,received,recieved,catch,charge,credit,cre dit card,creditcard,paypal,pay pal,month,s&h,cheap,skeptical,sceptical,review,rev iews,30$,20$,10$,$,40$,50$,60$,70$,deliver,deliver ed,amazon,amazon.com,19.90,$19.90,50,$50,$20,20,$3 0,30,$40,40,$29.85,29.85,$39.80,39.80,$49.75,49.75 ,two weeks,2 weeks,3 weeks,three weeks,4 weeks,four weeks,month,waiting,month ago,forever ago,still haven't gotten,still not here,still have not received,legit,paypal,paypal,sketchy,make mine,make my own,make one,has anyone ordered,hidden,hidden fee,hidden fees,leery,leary,scared,dont trust,don't trust,bs,bullshit,do not order,don't order,dont order,months ago,weeks ago,paypal,took the money,took my money,took money,never sent,never shipped,con,postage,$,wish app,wish,con,cheap,fuck,fucking,shit,amazon,china, iv,iiii,luxury,faulty,fake,trust,shite

2.) Consider niching your FB pages. I always recommend a niche store, but since you have a general i recommend picking 1-2 niches and creating specific fanpages for each. Your guitar picks for example might be a "I Love Guitars" fanpage. This helps with conversions because of the congruency and relevancy to your prospect (if you are doing your targeting on FB correctly that is).

3.) Establish more congruency between your ad and the landing/product page. Try to make it so that the ad image on FB is the image that the user sees when they arrive on your product page. Using different images between the 2 can cause confusion and increase bounce rate.

4.) Use nicheminer.co and Shopify Inspector extension to do better product research and spy on other store best sellers.

Store Improvements:
1.) Not sure what theme you are using or if you did some custom config, but it's likely decreasing your conversion rate. The process when a prospect clicks "Add To Cart" should take them straight to the cart or checkout page. From what I see on your store, when I click ATC it makes me take an extra step of literally clicking on the cart button to start checking out. REDUCE the # of steps it takes for a prospect to check out. (look at this stores process for example: https://sugarandcotton.com/)

2.) Install Abadonment Cart Protector if you haven't yet and offer a 3-email sequence if they don't check out. 1st email is a "hey you forgot something" sent after 5 minutes. 2nd email is a value add (10% off or free shipping discount code, valid 24 hours only) send after 6 hours. 3rd email is a reminder that their coupon expires soon sent after 24 hours.

3.) Install a countdown timer like Hurrify for scarcity and to urge your buyer to checkout quickly. Set it to 4 hours and you can use "Sale ends in..." as the text, or something similar.

Those are some actionable things you can work on immediately - good luck!

Also forgot to mention - your product page is inconsistent with checkout page.

You have trust badges for Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX - but only offer PayPal.

That's likely the reason for all the dropped checkouts so you'll need to do research on merchant/payment processors. Im not an expert with this but have heard of people using Authorize.net and Chase Paymentech outside of the normal ones. Not sure what is offered in your country though.

I added a new payment method, Stripe, that gives people the option to pay with credit card.
Thank you!

Thanks sapven for your huge list of tips!

It's 2:28 AM here in Italy and I'm starting to build up two macro-niche sites, one for Geeks and one for Tumblr-Girl.
I'll follow every word you said, in these two new stores, so I can learn from my mistakes!

I think I'll update this post tomorrow or on Friday, so I can have time to go online and set my first campaigns.
