I have a few offers I'm considering and I'd like to find landers based on these offers. Is this possible in Adplexity?
I know you can search Adplexity based on the network and by similar keywords(ie. antivirus landers by searching "antivirus"). But is there a way to search by a specific offer? For example, let's say there's a game or antivirus offer for a specific geo in a language I don't know(Iraq, Turkey, Brazil). I don't know any foreign kw's to type into Adplexity to search, and filtering just by the network doesn't help me find this specific offer since all the landers would be in a foreign language.
So is there a way to find landers that specifically match an offer?
Or maybe I'll rephrase: if I have an offer I wanna run but it's in a foreign language, how would I know what type of lander I need or if other ppl are running landers for this offer?
In this case you have to search by offer URL.
Head to the "By Advertiser" tab, check "all of the above" from the select box and into the search area type in your offer URL.
There is a catch though: you have to remove all unique parameters, such as your affiliate ID.
It's still a hit or miss, but give it a try (especially if the offer is not new and you know it's running in the wild it should give you some results)
Yeah I agree with erikgyepes. I would remove unique parameters and leave the offer's ID. So for example. I signed up for an offer in Adsimilis and my link is:
http://adstrx.com/?a=myaccountID&c=66371&s1=
I would plug c=66371 in the search area.
In addition, I would filter the results by Geo and Affiliate Network. This should narrow down the results such that you're sure pretty certain that you're being shown ads relating to your offer.
Very helpful advice, thanks guys!
So when I do the search is it just the ID parameter(like ?c=XXXX) or am I searching the entire URL(like adstrx.com/?c=XXXX) ? I've tried both and yes they are definitely hit or miss. Sometimes random landers show up, sometimes semi-related, sometimes nothing.
I'm in a couple networks that aren't listed in the Adplexity sidebar like Glize & Exportmobi. Does that mean offers from those networks aren't curated? Their URLs look very different than Cake network URLs so that's where things get trickier. Still this advice is very helpful so thanks to both of you for sharing
