Do the bots that visit your lander via pop TS-s like Popads also click on the CTA button or they just do a quick impression of the lander and leave?

Sure, they can click, they can stay on the site for some time, they can behave like a normal person except the conversion. The owner of Popads claims he can detect all bots which is BS of course.

Bot's can be simply or very advanced... many people still use "stupid" bots that click on everything, even invisible 1x1 images, or don't click at all just produce impressions These simple bots are quite easy to catch with a bot trap, by looking at the CTR or with the javascript redirect described in this method : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...n-Any-Campaign

A group of Russian criminals are making between $3 million and $5 million every day in a brazen attack on the advertising market, security firm White Ops claimed today. It's the biggest digital ad fraud ever uncovered and perpetrated by faking clicks on video ads, the company said.

The crew, which White Ops dubbed Ad Fraud Komanda or "AFK13", planned their machinations in meticulous detail. First, they created more than 6,000 domains and 250,267 distinct URLs within those that appeared to belong to real big-name publishers, from ESPN to Vogue. But all that could be hosted on the page was a video ad.
