Hi,
The network is using Cake. My AM setup a global Postback URL for me. Let's say it's: http://postback-1.com/pixel.php?clid...ce#&txid=#tid#, It works great.
Now I want to add another tracking system, I want to use it for some of my offers. The Postback URL is: http://postback-2.com/pixel.php?clid...ce#&txid=#tid#, so I click the offer in Cake, click "Testing & Tracking" tab, add the second url to "Postback URL (Server Pixel)"
But the conversion still goes to the first URL.
How can I specify different url for different offers?
Thank you.
I've never tried this with Cake - are you sure it supports multiple postbacks?
I see that they only have one postback field. Systems that can fire multiple postbacks accept multiple postback links for specific offers.
Best would be to ask your AM - they have to know.
Just asked am and confirmed by myself. The global post back URL will overwrite offer level URL.
Did they suggest any workaround?
No, I just setup a new global post back URL to my own server's php file. I can do anything in my own php, like send it to multiple tracking systems
I don't think cake actually supports more than one postback, I had the same problem with using multiple trackers and no cake network could help me with it. That's why I have 2 accounts with some networks now
