Hey guys,

I want to put a country specific redirect on my homepage (i.e. to direct Australian users away from a casino page to a social casino).

What redirect is best to use? I don't want any negative impact on either site?

Any redirect script increases the risk to get penalized or to be excluded from the Search Engines. If you are ok with that, you can use simple redirect script with GEO rules, try to check for it online.

You want to redirect users from certain countries AWAY from your site? This will DEFINITELY have negative impact on the SEO of your sites. Loading "different" versions of sites for specific groups of visitors is something that can fly at certain times, but a straight redirect will kill your SEO from a large part.

thanks Matuloo, I've opted for a page that is shown to certain geos that will allow the user to click to a different domain

Don't do a redirect, use javascript to show/hide content based on country.
