How to setup PopAds on Voluum

Hi guys,

Can someone please show screenshots of how to setup PopAds on Voluum? (e.g. what tokens you use)

Hi tkyorahat,

you can just use the popads template.

Thanks, where can I find it?

Then select popads and "Load Template".

I didn't want to start a new thread, but I'm not sure how to do the postback to popads properly?

http://serve.popads.net/cpixel.php?s...xxxxxxxxxx&id=[IMPRESSIONID]&value={payout} Is what I had on FunnelFlux, but this doesn't seem to work on Voluum. Do I need to change [IMRESSIONID] to "impressionid" which is the parameter?

Try this:

http://serve.popads.net/cpixel.php?s2s=1&aid=xxxxxxxxxxxxx&id={externalid} &value={payout}

Thanks Amy, I did try that/this: http://serve.popads.net/cpixel.php?s2s=1&aid=xxxxxxx&id={externalid}&value ={payout} but popads is still not registering any conversions. Not sure if there is anything else I might be doing wrong other than the postback which could cause the issue?

Aside from this postback (from Voluum to popads), there 2 other things that need to happen:

1)A conversion needs to have been made - this is obvious - and recorded at the aff network.

2)The conversion needs to have been posted back by the aff network to Voluum.

Only after that, can the voluum-to-popads postback do its job. I haven't personally used this voluum-popads postback, so have no idea if it even works. Could you please contact popads support and see what they say?

Thanks, Voluum knows about the conversions so will give popads a shout and see if they know what the problem is.

Hello,

can I ask a question? landing page required? for popads. or direct site link?

Can do either. Popads is one of the most lenient TS's around

The traffic source will not care whether you use a landing page or not - as long as either/both the landing page and/or the offer page are compliant with their TOS.

Some offer owners (aka advertisers) do have rules against direct-linking, so do read through the offer requirements carefully.

The main consideration for us affiliates though, is whether the offer CAN convert well without a lander. This will depend on how much pre-selling the offer will need. If it doesn't need much pre-selling, then you can direct-link. Otherwise, you'll need to use a lander. Also, some offers can convert when direct-linked, but can convert even better when a lander is used. It all depends on the particular offer, and how good your particular lander is.
