voluum and traffic source statistics difference
Hi Guys,
I set up three campaings yesterday and I set up everything as usual except the exchanger (changed)... and I have a huge clicks/visits difference between my tracking and my traffic source statistics.
like: 100 visits on my traffic and 15 on Voluum only... What's going on?
p.s. checked my settings/links and everything works.

Some difference is normal, usually, you will see less clicks in Voluum than in the traffic source reports. But, the difference should be like 10%-15%, 30% in extreme cases (mobile pops in asia).
Can you tell me more about your setup? What traffic source is this, what GEO, what traffic type? One more thing, just to make sure there is no confusion : are you comparing hits sent as per the source and VISITS recorded i Voluum ... so NOT clicks on the LP, right?

I used go2mobi but changed the exchanger.
Then I set up my 3 offers as usual in voluum and then prepared 3 campaigns (direct link). app installs.
I am comparing the
CLICKS registered at go2mobi and then confronted them with
VISITS at voluum...
one campaign is having
115 clicks at go2mobi and
57 visits at voluum...
the other is having
64 clicks at go2mobi and
94 visits at voluum...
the third one:
131 clicks and
18 visits...
I am confused... I did a direct linking before and it was doing well, nothing strange happened. I had some click loss, but it was like 1 click missing...

Weird, since it's direct-linked, there can't be a problem with LPs ... what GEO is this, in some cases, the differences can be bigger - did you start in a new GEO?
Maybe there was a tech problem, try to ask the support at go2mobi...
It could also be some BOTs, if you look at the CTR, is it bigger than on the older campaigns? Maybe you just got sent some BOTs that voluum didn't record. You are bidding CPM at go2mobi, so some extra bots don't really cost you anything.

Nope, I did stick to ONE geo, ONE traffic source (testing different exchangers), and ONE vertical.
I tested different vertical and different geo (on smaato) but my results weren't so weird...
In fact I did not test a new exchanger for bots...

So this problematic situation started when you started to test a new exchange? Could be that there are more bots in it. Definitely test it. And try to start the older smaato campaign again to see if the problem is present there too.
