Tracking Exoclick cost on Voluum? (4)

Hi guys. I just launched my first campaign on exoclick. Turned auto option on the campaign in Voluum, but the costs weren't accurate at all.

Then I found that you can update the costs manually for a range of hours. That means you look how much did you spend for that campaign on a given day and put that into Voluum. It's more accurate, but not exact.

So I was wondering how are experienced people handling this situation, any help?

There is no way to get 100% accurate costs. The way people usually do it, is calculating averages after a while of running the campaign. Check how much you spent, divide it by the amount of clicks you see in Voluum and set that as your price per click. This is as accurate as it gets.

Keep in mind that you are working with averages when handling it this way. The real spend will vary from placement to placement... but there is no way to work around it. If you want totally accurate data, you will have to pull cvs report from exo and Voluum and compare them placement by placement - some excel magic can do the trick to make your life easier.

Yes man Voluum shows me way more clicks than Exo so if something is in profit assumes theres more and vice versa. Not much you can do apart from listen to Matuloo and find a work around.

It's always like that with exo, their stats shows less clicks than you will see in your tracking. The differences can be quite large in some GEOs. Part of it is bots and similar crap.
