Cloaking links on adult

Hey guys,

Is cloaking on adult worth it?

The only black hat technique Im using is banners, maybe hardcore on a sexy site but that can easily be found by the regulators by scanning the tubes sites.

Not sure if theres any reason, an old aff of mine who runs adult back in my AC days said he always cloaks on adult but not sure what the purpose is in my case.

Just being doubly sure. Thanks G

Cloak only if you have a reason to cloak.. which is usually the case if you are running aggressively or non-compliantly on adult.

The reason some of us cloak on adult and other traffic type is because it can perform really well but the reward has to be worth all the effort, extra expense and risks.

Should be a pretty straight forward answer... either you are running compliant and have no need to cloak... or you are wanting to run non-compliant and the only way to sustain results is to cloak as best as you can.

Hi!

Andrew is right, if there is no need to cloak - don't. Although it also depends on your traffic source, of course, if you are using Facebook, for example, where Adult is completely forbidden, you'd need to go black hat.

Oh, and be careful with that hardcore ads on sexy traffic, as soon as advertiser finds it, you can get to the blacklist.

Good luck!

Well yes, if you are using hardcore creatives to send traffic to offers that ban this, you might want to cloak. But maybe, you should simply test more compliant banners, in MANY cases, softcore creatives can outperform hardcore - I've seen it times and times again.

When pushing adult traffic to adult offers, you rarely need to cloak, most of the guys who do it simply want to hide their creatives to make them harder to rip
