Hey
Anyone can recommend a decent payment method?
Paypal is killing me with their fees - it's crazy!
Thanks
Hey!
It depends on network which you're using.
For me the best way to receive payments by wire transfer on my bank account or to use services like https://www.epayments.com. In this system you'll get an opportunity to receive payments by wire, order their prepaid card and do online payments. Fees are very small!
Also bank wires here, or Payoneer for some services - you can also get a credit card there and use it for online payments again.
We still use PayPal here and there but it's the least used really.
Thanks mrbraun/manu_adefy
my goal here is obviosuly to :
1. keep my privacy
2. get the peyments as fast as possible
so wire transfer I guess is not ideal right? as it's to my back account and will take few days.
Will check the other options you mentioned thanks (yes of course it also depends on what the network uses)
You can use revolut (my ref link).
They will provide you with your personal bank account if you are from UK or they will allow you to transfer to their bank accounts (GBP, USD, EUR).
Here you can get up to 5 physical MasterCards that you can use on any atm with no commission to withdraw up to 200GBP per month and you can pay online/offline with no comissions. On top of this they offer you the best exchange rates (forex like, without the last pips). You will basically have your account in any currency you want and you will ge the best exchange rates.
Most reliable payment solutions require legit information about you - otherwise they are likely to be temporary solutions because regulations will shut them down or change their model.
thanks all!
muresanv - I am not a UK resident, although I spend a lot of time there
Wire and then implement KANTOX API to reduce foreign currency fluctations. By far the cheapest option. Our currency trading losses and fees have been divided by 10 since working with them.
There is also Paxum that it widely used by adult companies, if you plan to work in that vertical, it might be worth a try too.
But you should definitely considering incorporating and doing it the right/legal way ... the networks still have to send you payments somewhere so you have to deal with that. There is also a VAT related problem, EU traffic networks will charge you VAT on your purchases, in case you're from EU too and you're not VAT registered.
