URGENT: custom audience/lookalike (5)

URGENT: custom audience/lookalike

Yo

I have this issue, maybe someone can help

I uploaded a list to custom audience, at first it said list is too short but after few mins' I got a msg that the list is ready

Now I am trying to continue and create the lookalike and I get this msg:
"#2654) Source audience is too small: There are not enough people in your source in the country you chose. Please choose a country that includes at least 100 people in your source."

HOWEVER - all the emails is my list are from UK AND inside audience... where it says that the list is READY it also shows "size" = 100

So what's still wrong?

You need a bigger audience or people who have a lot more activity on FB itself. How lookalike audiences works is by generating a lattice based on user activities of your seed audience and extracting association rules. Right now you are not giving FB enough for the algorithm to work with.

So the list could actually contain at least 100 emails that match FB accounts, but that's not enough?
Could be that the 100 that FB found are just not active enough to make FB base any analysis on them? is that the issue?

So in this case I just need to keep adding emails until the point where FB will just stop showing this msg? then I will know I am good.

One more question please - how is it that I see a list/custom audience that is "Ready", yet the size of it is 80 (when the min FB requires is 100)?

100 emails is not enough ofcourse, because a bunch of your list might not even have an FB account
So try to get 500 at least for example.

It could be you upload the 80 first and then add another file at the same group which will add up so get over the 100.
So thats wht FB still says it's ready (it uploaded your file correctly).

as I understand the "size" are already email that FB found out of the list and matched - meaning out of the list I uploaded (which was more than 100 of course), fb found 100.
