CPVLab 2.13 Update Released!!

- Visitor Stats that shows the past 24 hours/500 visitors in real-time, along with multiple metrics such as click and conversion data, Referrer Data (page & domain), GEO information (Country, State, City) and many others.

aka .... SpyView!!!!

- Abilities to Group and Set Campaigns Status for easier vieweing.

Yah man!!

- IFrame Pixel Support…this expands the functionality of the additional pixels. In 2.12 only additional image based pixels could be used. This update adds support for Image, Javascript, and Other Script based pixels.

Retargetting pixels anyone

Biggest surprise for me was....

* hide the base.php / base2.php etc URLs so you can call campaigns with custom URLs like domain.com/campaigntitle!!! This is gonna be very helpful to prevent people using inurl:base.php searches to identify your campaign URLs.

More info and download here:

Features that will be in 2.14:

- Finish Adobe Air Version of Alerts App
- Data Archiving and Removal Options
- Additional Campaigns Types available for Email Follow-Up Campaigns
- Ability to Rotate and Test specific Sequences in LPS Campaigns
- Multiple Campaign Optimization and Alerts Profiles
- Custom Redirect Interface for Landing Pages, Offers and Dynamic Page Customization
- New User Interface Design
- Mobile and Tablet Versions of CPV Lab User Interface

Just got this from BeyondHosting :

"Hi All, we are aware of an update that has been released by a popular piece of software, CPVLab. This update breaks entire functionality of the software and will render the installation defunct.

Please do NOT update the CPVLab software until we instruct otherwise.

We appologize if this email does not pertain to software on your server."

So I would suggest holding on a bit before you do the upgrade.

Except for the "rendering the installation defunct" part, seems like a pretty solid update.

I emailed Robert at CPV lab after I got the email from beyond hosting. Below is his response.

Hey Drew,

No...you're good. For some reason the file I had sent Tyler (Beyond Hosting) wasn't working. We just tested the package sent out to users, and no problem there.

It had to be something from the ZIP process in that one file...we did over 700 updates today for a few agencies and had no issues.

Thanks,
Robert

It sounds like it should be fine to upgrade.

hmmm. make sure you back up your db and folder cause i just tried and in my case something was buggered up. ost most of my campaigns. time to revert to backup.

Can confirm, the zip file sent to us prior to the release email to everyone was damaged. On top of this the zip file robert sent out to eveyone has the wrong file permissions and caused several users to experience a function error.

Everything is squared away.

If you want to download this file then upload it via cPanel file manager to your cpvlab folder and hit extract, this has the proper permissions to work on suphp ect.

http://beyondhosting.net/downloads/C...-From-2.12.zip

Then simply go to your cpvlabdomain.com/upgrade.php and proceed. Once done delete the zip and upgrade.php.

Sorry to freak anyone out, we didn't want people to break their CPVLab installations trying to upgrade.

sorry...dupe.

Visitor Stats is freakin' awesome. For one of my intl FB campaigns, just learned that 65% of the traffic and conversions come from 2 regions. Totally makes sense to break those out into individual customized campaigns.

It will also make it harder to pop over someone else's tracking link.

Robert has done a FABULOUS job with the new CPVLab and the upcoming mobile/tablet version will make a BIG difference to my workflow.
He's my new best friend

Hat's off to Tyler and his team too for his ever positive input in keeping Beyond Hosting customers both in the loop and happy.

Thanks PPCHound,

We've done about 100 upgrades in the past 12 hours now, not ran into any issues yet.

If your on our hybrid package and have seen the "cannot connect to database" error, we believe that's fixed now. Oh what tons of database alternations at once can do to a mysql server... :-D

just tried to upgrade to 2.13 by filezilla and running the upgrade.php

everything seemed fine and then i found inside the cpvlab interface a bunch of errors like

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function flipStyle() in...
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function handleColumnChangeAction() in...
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function getInterval() in...

then everything worked... magic

+1 for tyler and beyond hosting
