The title says it all...
I am getting into AM and I don't fully understand how I can synchronize sales data with my advertising platform's conversion data, given that the conversions occur on a website I don't control.
I understand the concept of postback URLs. Sale occurs, and the advertiser pings my link at which point I can record the sale. Is that enough to trigger a conversion for Adwords/FB/GTM? I suppose it should be but I am not 100% sure which is why I am asking.
I'm going to have to create some software to run this over the weekend but I want to make sure I do it right.
