Hello,

I moved the thread for you. I would also like to point your attention to this article that I wrote a couple days ago : https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...it-DEAD-or-NOT

You might want to rethink your strategy.

Hi Roykoda,

It's not a good start for your campaign, but I wonder for how long you gathered data. I see that you have information on your best creatives, so now you can already optimize that part and focus on the best creative's combination based on the CTR.

Also try to ask more information to your AM, about the best performing target of the offer (carrier/OS, etc).

Regarding the flow you setup from Appflood-Voluum-Go2mobi, make sure all the links and processes are correct and that you're actually displaying the offer to the user.

Regarding the offer, if you can't see it, it can be because the offer is not available to be seen by VPN or in last stance - the link is broken. You should check this asap and make sure the link is properly working.

Cheers!

Thank you Matuloo.
I have just read your article.
Basically, what you are saying, is to have a main campaign, to start to bid low and whitelist some groups of placements on go2mobi, in a separate new campaign. Then increase my bid and whitelist another group of placements in a separate campaign and so on... In the meantime I should blacklist those placements in my main campaign.
Is that correct?

Do you thik in this campaign I did bid too high? (because I know I should bid normally 2-2.5 x payout)
Do you continue bidding within the main campaign until you get an accepptable list of good performing placements?
How do I move the whitelisted (good performing) placements to a new campaign?

Is it normal that my offer link does not load even if I use an android emulator and the right VPN (indonesian IP)?

Thanks Mobidea,

I gathered data for couple of hours maybe... Should I optimize even if I had no single conversion?

I'll ask my AM for the data you suggested.

Regarding the Voluum/appflood/go2mobi set-up I double checked them, but I will triple check for sure, maybe I missed something.

I thought that the link might be broken, but my AM says it's ok for them. Is there any way I can check it as well?

Update:

I have gone trough various guides:
https://charlesngo.com/voluum-campaign-setup/
http://iamattila.com/category/voluum-tutorial
https://help.Voluum.com/userguide/#p=1

checked this post as well:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...2mobi+appflood

and it seems that all my links are fine. But I still cannot visualize my offer page in any way...
Should I use a different emulator? which one?

In the meantime I have prepared 6 more campaigns (6 different geo) and I have exactly the same problem with corresponding links, so I would like to clear this doubt before I proceed. My AM claims there is nothing wrong with the offer links (I made her check all 7!).

Is there anything else I can do?

Many advertisers block known VPNs, so it's possible that you didnt make it to the offer because you have been redirected to a fallback offer. Try to ask your AM if they can disable these fallback (out of targeting) redirects for you.

As for bidding - you do not bid 2-2.5 offer payout! Its a recommended amount to SPEND on a placement before making decisions - it's a rough figure that you dont have to follow to the point, take it as a rule of thumb...

The bid depends on competition, start low and increase, or start higher and make changes based on the results you get.

As for the system of picking the placements for whitelist campaigns - you understand it right, but I'm not sure if it's really worth the trouble, at least with the smaato exchange.

Hi Matuloo

Thank you very much for your support. I will follow your advice.
As you suggested I decided to build up my campaigns with other exchangers (on go2mobi).
Can you suggest one, considering that my first campaigns will be focused on second-third tier geos and app downloads?
Do you think app downloads are right for a newbie to start?
