OK, so I have mentioned research a couple of times. And this is what that yields.
Very interesting info about a succesful dropshipper who runs ecommerce in a way that many people like:
- You run the Facebook campaign
- Va's take care of the rest
- dropshippers deal with all the logistics
Check you the details here and scroll down to the bottom and check out the P&L excel sheet: https://flippa.com/8077248-boffnboop-com
Make sure to read the rest of the sales story too to get a better idea of what running such a site would entail and what to expect in terms of numbers.
Info will disappear at some time (listing ends or site gets sold), so don't wait around to check it out. No time? Save and download for future reference.
Enjoy.
I'm curious about what course he bought for $2500 to set this whole thing up.
While I was doing SEO, I LOVED going to Flippa to get ideas. One of the ideas I got motivated me to build a site that made $42k/month in Adsense 4 months after it was built, and I was making content for it myself and only during my free time.
Some Flippa listings are entire business plans - where to source products/content, how the site is managed, what kinds of costs are involved, monetizing methods, monthly revenues and profits, valuation details etc.
Thanks pekadis for this share! Captured and downloaded for future reference!
EDIT: I've downloaded the listing and attachments and zipped them up for you guys:

Files in both links are the same - just different zip formats.

@vortex - 42K per month from adsense - that's impressive! - and thanks for creating an archive for future reference.
@anglewhiz - Not sure which course he is referring too, but you can get a lot of info on the forum here. And there will be more.
The model that's used is Facebook ads to generate sales,
If you want to know something specific, let me know. Otherwise, keep a close eye on this section of the forum, as I am planning some more ecommerce threads that will help you set something up.
I think he participated in ecom success academy, pretty solid.

@baasbee - Based on what do you think that? The price tag? Or something else?
@pekadis Yeah price tag, the niches he is selling, and the way the product info is written. I did the training myself and recognize certain tips and tricks. But then again all courses share tactics, so it's hard to say. Best guess.
@baasbee - thanks for the explanation!
Only thing I'm wondering is why you would sell something that brings you a net monthly profit of $8K for a mere $13K. If you just keep the site going, you'll make that money in 1.5 months without too much effort.
Well, the reserve hasn't been met yet, so it could be a lot higher than 13K.
He is stating he wants to buy an appartment with the proceeds from the sale, so that too would indicate a higher price tag than 13K
Nice share, and fascinating information!
It'll also be interesting to see how much it ends up going for.
The value of such a business is not how much it makes while the ads are running, its how much (organic) sales you get when you turn off all ads.
Then you can truly see how much returning customers you have, how much they value your site and how much money you make without buying traffic. The traffic buys can do any day or FB can shut you out or block your store - you dont want your entire business model to depend on one traffic source, let alone one company.
Thanks this was an amazing study in dropshipping.
I find it odd someone would sell something like this when its profitable and only requires like he said 2-5 hours per day. Maybe he is noticing that things are getting quite competitive and saturated on fb dropship. But then again he could also really be looking for an apartment.
