How do you set up Voluum AND Google Analytics with RevContent?

Hey Guys -

I want to run RevContent through my Voluum link, but also want to track bounce rate and things like that through google analytics. Does anyone have any resource on how to best set this up?

The obstacle I'm running into is how set this up correctly in both trackers while having only one campaign link in RevContent.

Additionally is it possible to pass back "bounce rate" and "average time on page" as Voluum variables?

Thanks!

HI,

Do you already have a campaign tracking tool in place and want to setup Voluum on top?

I have developed software over the past year (beta) that will accomplish this for you if you follow some basic rules for setting up your revcontent campaigns.

It will give you GA data down to the widget id of the advertiser site as well as the ROI for revcontent. I am working on the content.ad, outbrain portion as well.

You can just append the utm source, utm campaign etc along with the Voluum parameters, and add the JS from Analutics to the lander.

Even better, use tag manager. So just pull the Voluum variables, source etc... and add them to the GTM data layer via JS.

Analytics has an API, you can pull data from Voluum and Analytics to a db and join them on clickid/zoneid, or just do jt in excel

JesseJames - can you actually get conversions from Cake to come back into GA - even if you aren't doing an adwords campaign? Say if you're on another traffic source?
