Network Owes Me 3K From Traffic Ran In Summer. What to do?

I know the owner, we are facebook friends.. he stopped responding a month ago or so, kept on saying he is out of money but hes still promoting hes network all over facebook and his group page and getting affiliates to run his stuff. He might eventually pay me, he may not but either way its been around 4 months...

I kept on contacting him but now nothing... i want my 3k so whats the cheapest/most effective way to go about this? Post links/resources if you guys have any since "get a lawyer" doesnt really help much lol..

Thanks!

Also not that he did/would, but what if they just delete my account? Should i screenshot the payments report and also the actual campaign details?

Will all due respect, if you have to ask the question above ^^^ you obviously should take screenshots to protect yourself just in case you are forced to use evidence if you feel that they're shady enough to delete your account.

You would spend more than $3k to get a lawyer to attempt to collect for you, or close enough to it that it wouldn't be worth it at all to do.

Do you have more details about this? What excuses were given for your payment being held? Did you send high quality, legitimate traffic?

If there was nothing wrong with your traffic, you may be able to get a collections agency involved for a reasonable price, but it may not be worth the effort. Also, you may want to expose the company doing this to you if you've been 100% legitimate and have nothing to hide.

I would threaten to spread your story.

Tell him you will be posting the network name and your story on stackthatmoney forums, wickedfire and any Facebook groups you are part of. Give him 7 days to pay. It's not worth having a ruined rep just screw an aff out of 3k.

I'm not a lawyer or qualified in any way, but it's my understanding that in most states small claims court takes all cases under $5,000 and will often not allow lawyers in order to avoid this problem. This comment should be ignored if the network is held outside the United States.

Take pictures and make copies of everything!

I also am just curious if he did delete my account and i didn't get a chance to take screenshots(also if they are screenshots cant he just claim they are photoshopped or fake?), what can i do in order to get the money/ have proof besides just threats, aka forums etc.

Do you have email conversations with him where he acknowledges the debt?

If the Screenshots are a problem...Maybe make a video from Camtasia showing the evidence?

Then show it to them and let them know you are going expose them on Youtube.

dude you better have screen shots of your acct just in case they delete it, that happened to me once with lime light cpa. He owed me $200 for an email submit I ran on fb ads and the advertiser didn't pay him so he just told me that the advertiser didn't pay him so there's nothing he can do for me. I posted up on affiliate paying.com that I didn't get paid and he sent me an email threatening to sue me for slander and also deleted my account. Then like a child he responded back to my comment telling lies about me saying that I created multiple accounts at his network and all kinds of crazy shit trying to make himself look like the victim. Then after bickering back and forth on affiliate paying.com all of a sudden all the comments were removed by the owner of that site. Im just glad that it was only $200.
