[Funny] This guys is promoting app installs in the strangest way....

So someone on instagram (an obvious bot) liked my pics and followed me with the username "free_bongcontest_". Now, I follow several instagramers that would put me squarely in this demographic. The instagram bio of user "free_bongcontest_" said to go to http://bongs.review/ in order to claim my free bong.

I thought this was hilarious. I entered a fake email and it led me to a small survey to decide which color and brand of bong I would like to receive. Then it took me to an Offer Wall with several App install offers and a email submit offer. It said I need to complete 2 offers in order to "Prove I am human" and then I will be able to receive the bong.

Got a good laugh out of it!

Interesting way of content locking, or in this case a product. Pure incentivized traffic but kinda subtle yes!
Advertiser of the app installs will not be happy for long time because the retention will be low tho', unless the apps offered are relevant to pot heads ofcourse!

Not a bad funnel to be honest. CPI and CPL in one flow.

But yeah quality would be crap, Incentivizing via content locking. Unless its an app that you can play while high...

Its all free traffic. I'm starting to see some even on SnapChat that will say: screen shot link on my next snap...which takes you to a similar funnel
