So I've been working a lot with Mobile Header spots (300x100 etc) and decided to take a stab at the Mobile Footer spots (300x250).
These spots seem to have a much lower CTR, yet still remains pretty pricey due to competition, especially on premium sites.
It seems like my LP CTR numbers have gone way up (more user engagement, guessing due to less misclicks?), however my CPC has gone up just as much.
Due to the increased CPC, is it better to try to use some sort of high CTR banner (chat style for example) on these spots?
Or is it just a matter of finding spots that don't have as much competition?
For example take a Pornhub Mobile Footer in the US (high competition), is it better to probably just forgo this spot rather than trying to make it work? (sorry vague question I know)
If I had such a problem, I would try to keep the banner at the top bid. Find the best epm banner, then optimizer other parameter。
The top bid could exclude price affect, the Roi Could be negative, you just care the convertions.
I always work with Exoclick,if you have other mind ,please let me know.
