Can you set up and bank from a FB fanpage without a website or blog?

I have an idea for a niche FB fanpage. Is it possible to do this and bank from it without a matching website? I notice most fanpages seem to have a link to a website of the same name, what works today .

You can, but technically it's against the FBs TOS, people do it all the time thou ...

It's called influencer marketing - establish yourself as an authority in some niche and companies will be willing to pay you for showing off with their products ... it's more complicated but you get the idea.

Facebook is like another Internet within Internet So you can manage your content there, grow your following etc ... but not using a related webite/blog or whatever else, is a waste. You can do whatever you want on your site and by utilizing a FB page, you can drive traffic from facebook to it. I would definitely recommend to have a site or blog to go with your FB Page.

I have some modern Wordpress themes available so putting together a respectable site is not too much work. My thought was the complexity of SEO these days and the time its takes to get ranked. However if you are driving traffic from your Fanpage I guess that speeds the process up.
Your advice is much appreciated I will go with your recommendation

Look at the site as an extension to your FB page, where you can get wild with advertising, if it ranks at some point, that's just a bonus
