Do You Change The "Landing Page" Angle On Your Rules Lander? (7)

Do You Change The "Landing Page" Angle On Your Rules Lander?

So something I've been toying with was coming up with headlines/sub-headlines for my "Rules Landers". However for the most part nothing I've done has massively changed CTR/CVR on these.

I notice when I use Adplexity to look at what other people are using, I notice for the most part these rules landers don't really have an "Angle". They are pretty much all the same.

For example below:

Size:	38.7 KB

All of these landers don't really have an angle and just say something like "Warning: Nude Photos Ahead. Please Be Discreet!" or something generic like that, and then it's followed by the same set of usual questions.

So with dating does the "Angle" really stop at the banner portion of the funnel?

I mean aside from using say images that match the angle on the lander (ie Milf image for Milf Offer), do you basically just leave these rules landers as is?

I've been working really hard on testing images/headlines etc. but nothing I've done so far on my lander has really created much of a difference.

Perhaps copywriting for landers isn't that big in Adult as maybe other niches?

I definitely think copywriting is important for say banner creation, but maybe there isn't that much room for improvement in terms of landers?

Thanks in advance

My first profitable campaign ever was using a rules lander with questions and headlines that I came up with Do I have to say more?

Just so you know, I'm running LPs with the generic headlines too, but I test my own as well.

I guess my question is do you think that banners are more important than landers?

I know both are important, but it seems while there is quite a lot of variation in banners, there is relatively little variation in landing pages.

So would you say banners probably requires more thought/attention and has a bigger impact on your campaigns?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't used Rules landers in a minute. I stick to chat landers. Lower CTR but Higher CVR. Also, everything is angles. If it's generic, it's still a generic angle, and possibly when your spying and seeing things not match up, it's probably cause the marketer who is running it has figured out his flow. Also, with banners it depends on what your goal is with the banner. Create a high CTR, or create a high CVR. You can use generic banners i.e. "18+ or Exit" "play buttons" ect. and still make those work, with a Lander that funnels properly ie "Survey Style" to match offers. So it all is really important, and one doesn't really have greater importance than the other. Just my thoughts.

You could say that banners require more care, because they are the first mean of contact with your prospects. They also get way more exposure, so they need more variation to fight burnout. So yeah, you will have to spend more time on banners, simply because you will need more of them.

However, if the banners don't connect well with your LPs, it's not gonna work anyways... so it's not really possible to say one would be more important than the other one.
