How to figure out and block "Unknown" Widget IDs in RevContent
Hey guys - I'm running on RevContent and analyzing some data and a ton of traffic seems to come through on Unknown widget iD - the referrer domain also comes in as Unknown on Voluum.
See the photo below this post. Has anyone had this, and dealt with it successfully (e.g., figure out what the widget is and block?).
Thanks!

Yeah the answer I got was they are "from a list of widgets created by pubs that sometimes do not work well with tracking, etc.".
Interested to see if anyone else has had this issue. Do you run revcontent heavily and have never seen this?

Run whitelist with solid placements as money camp, blacklist only from time to time for mining new good widgets.

so those are from sites which use the revcontent api to create their own custom widgets. however they have made a mistake in some way so they are not correctly passing back the click data. Your rep may be able to block them all at the account level if you ask nicely.
