Iphone VS Android Profit Differences (5)
So I created a thread earlier regarding Iphone VS Android CTR rates, and now looking over my data I notice that on my campaigns I am slightly profitable on Android, but taking heavy losses on Iphone.
I feel like this is the sticking point in this campaign for me, there's something going on with my Iphone users.
Some stats from yesterday:
This is for a US campaign I am currently running (trying to optimize). As you can see there is a small profit for Android but a pretty big loss for Iphone. It appears the differential comes from the Landing Page as the conversion rates are similar, but there is a big difference in LP CTR.
So at first I thought that maybe my LPs were loading funny in Iphones, but then when I went to Browserstack everything seems fine.
I know some said that Iphone users are more savvy than Android users so that could be it, but this is for the US market, so I doubt the differential could be that large?
It seems like there is a 35% ROI difference for me over a large sample size between Android vs Iphone.
Is it possible that maybe Iphones are blocking my LP from loading (virus/malware etc?). I dont use any scripts on my LPs, so I dont see that being the issue. I also dont have an iphone myself so I cant test it.
Oh also I cant separate the Iphone vs Android traffic as Im running on TJ lol.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Different OS show often different performance with landing pages and offers.
Never wonder, test more instead.
Split Anroid and iOS in seperate campaigns or split with Voluume rules.
Test different landing pages and offers for both.
Match your CPV to the EPV of your campaigns (if you can seperate the OS).
If iOS doesn't fly after it, try sending it to a monetizer or build a new secondary funnel for it.
Actually it appears it may have been a landing page issue.
I upgraded to a full version of browserstack and some of the Iphone viewings of my LP seemed off in other versions.
Similarly it didnt look good in some android phones as well, so I made some fixes and am running traffic now.
I hope this is the issue and we are on to greener pastures here.
I will update this thread if I find a solution.
Most of the time my IOS ROI is so bad that I don't even start campaigns with it targeted.
